SPEAKING
Looking for a careers talk or employability workshop led in a knowledgeable, warm, approachable style which will inspire and facilitate positive action?
Great! You're in the right place…
Gina Says...
“It never fails to make me smile to see the looks on the faces of 16 and 17 year olds when we talk about the idea that they may have approx 50+ years of working life ahead of them (and that’s beyond any higher education they embark on). Looking out into the audience from the stage, sometimes the faces looking back at me are stunned, overwhelmed or surprised. Occasionally there’ll be a nervous, disbelieving giggle. Sometimes you can see the internal arithmetic, working out whether that could be true. Often there’s a moment of recognition and acceptance (and perhaps a touch of fear).”
*Deep breath*
Let's shift and fear or worry to excitement and anticipation!
If it’s true that we have approx. 30,000 days on the earth (based on the upper average life expectancy of 82 years) - don’t you want to make the most of them?
Training, talks and workshops from Your Career And Future can help...
As an individual: Isn’t it up to you to make a commitment to spend that time in a way that feels purposeful? Joyous even?
“I mention the possibility of a 50+ year career is because it is my hope that you will realise that there’s an opportunity here, an opportunity to do your best to spend these working years in a way that is meaningful for you (whatever that means at the time… it will change as the seasons of your life do).”
As a business / an employer - It is business critical for your employees to be productive, collaborative and engaged. Your people are at the heart of what your business is intending to achieve. As such, isn’t it up to you to ensure that they have access to personal and professional development opportunities which help them operate at their best?

When it comes to your career and life, wouldn't it be great to feel excitement and hope instead of overwhelm or worry?
